How to get the sound.
- Put SCRAMBLE on a synth, loop, 808, drum bus or the master and pick STUDIO (or MORE FX).
- Twist the cube. Each position is a different chain; keep the ones you like with SAVE.
- Pull MIX down for subtle colour, or turn on the sequencer so the chain changes every bar.

Is SCRAMBLE a free TONEFLX alternative?
For the core job, turning a dry digital sound into something warmer with tape, saturation, chorus, delay and reverb, yes, and it's free to start. TONEFLX gives you a drag-and-drop pedalboard with each pedal's knobs; SCRAMBLE picks the chain when you twist a cube, which is faster for finding ideas.
Can I tweak the chain by hand?
Yes. The meters on the right show which effects are lit and you can drag them, plus INTENSITY and MIX. It's built for twisting first, tweaking second.
Is it free?
Yes. All 8 FX modes and 237 presets are free. The $49 Bundle adds all 2,800 presets and the full vocal chain.
Does it work on Mac and Windows?
Yes. Mac gets VST3 and AU (Apple Silicon and Intel). Windows gets VST3 plus a standalone app. It loads in FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro and other DAWs. Not Pro Tools yet (no AAX).
