What DRUMS does.
Brighter
Lifts the snap and the hats so the loop cuts through.
Thicker
Fills out the body of kicks and snares.
Clipped + distorted
From gentle soft clipping to full grit, for loud, punchy drums.
Wider + morphed
Spreads the kit out in stereo, or bends it into something new.
How to get the sound.
- Load SCRAMBLE on a drum loop, a break or your drum bus and pick DRUMS.
- Twist the cube. Each position is a different mix of brightness, weight, clipping and width.
- Use MIX for parallel processing: keep the dry hit and blend the colour in.

Is it free?
Yes. DRUMS is one of the 8 FX modes in the free version of SCRAMBLE, with 237 presets.
Is it a drum clipper?
Clipping is part of it. This mode also brightens, thickens, distorts and widens, so it's more of a drum colour box.
Will it change my levels?
Some positions are louder, so check with the OUT knob. The previews below are level-matched so you hear the change, not just volume.
Does it work on Mac and Windows?
Yes. Mac gets VST3 and AU (Apple Silicon and Intel). Windows gets VST3 plus a standalone app. It loads in FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro and other DAWs. Not Pro Tools yet (no AAX).
