FREE · SHAPERBOX ALTERNATIVE · VST3 / AU
A free ShaperBox alternative for chops, pumps and slices.
ShaperBox 3 ($99) shapes volume, filters and more with drawn curves. SCRAMBLE gets you rhythmic movement the fast way: BEAT SCRAMBLE chops every bar into 16 slices, and MORE FX adds PUMP and CHOP. Twist the cube and the pattern changes, in time with your beat.

Movement without drawing curves.
Chops
Tempo-synced cuts that make a held chord or pad bounce.
Pump
The sidechain-style duck, without routing a kick (MORE FX mode).
Slice + rearrange
BEAT SCRAMBLE cuts each bar into 16 slices and swaps, reverses and rolls them.
Twist for a new pattern
Every cube position is a different pattern, so you audition ideas instead of drawing them.
How to get the sound.
- Load SCRAMBLE on a loop, chords or a drum bus and pick BEAT SCRAMBLE (or MORE FX for PUMP and CHOP).
- Twist the cube until the movement fits the beat.
- Turn on the sequencer to change the pattern every bar, or pull MIX down to keep it subtle.
SCRAMBLE is out now, and it's free.
All 8 FX modes, the full cube, the sequencer and 237 presets. Mac + Windows, no card needed.
Questions
Is SCRAMBLE a full ShaperBox replacement?
Not exactly. ShaperBox lets you draw any curve. SCRAMBLE gives you chops, pumps and slices by twisting a cube, which is faster when you want ideas. Many producers use it for the same jobs: movement on chords, loops and drums.
Is it free?
Yes. BEAT SCRAMBLE and MORE FX are in the free version, with 237 presets. The $49 Bundle adds all 2,800 presets.
Does it stay on beat?
Yes. Every slice, chop and pump follows your DAW's tempo.
Does it work on Mac and Windows?
Yes. Mac gets VST3 and AU (Apple Silicon and Intel). Windows gets VST3 plus a standalone app. It loads in FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro and other DAWs. Not Pro Tools yet (no AAX).
