FREE · DISTORTION / SATURATION · VST3 / AU
Free distortion and saturation that makes it hit harder.
A little saturation makes an 808 audible on phone speakers; a lot turns a drum loop into a fight. SCRAMBLE's DIRT goes from tube warmth to fuzz, the DRUMS mode clips and thickens, and tape warms everything. Twist the cube for a new colour. Free.
Hear it.
Real loops through real DRUMS presets, nothing else added. Tap DRY to hear the original.

Grit, on demand.
DIRT
From warm tube to burnt fuzz.
DRUMS mode
Brighter, thicker, clipped, distorted drums.
PUNCH + SUB
Snap the transient and add low end under the dirt.
808s
Saturation that makes the 808 read on small speakers.
When a dedicated saturator is the better pick
- You want multiband saturation or to shape the curve by hand (FabFilter Saturn, Decapitator).
We'd rather you use the right tool. If that's Saturation plugins, go for it.
How to get the sound.
- Put SCRAMBLE on an 808, drum bus, bass or vocal and pick DRUMS or MORE FX.
- Open MAKE IT DIRTY or twist until it bites.
- Pull MIX down for parallel saturation.
SCRAMBLE is out now, and it's free.
All 8 FX modes, the full cube, the sequencer and 237 presets. Mac + Windows, no card needed.
Questions
How do I get the DIRT sound fast?
Pick MORE FX and open the MAKE IT DIRTY preset folder: 12 presets where DIRT is the main effect (3 are in the free version, all 12 in the Bundle). Then twist the cube for more, and drag DIRT's bar in WHAT'S LIT to set how hard it hits.
Is it free?
Yes. All 8 FX modes, the cube, the sequencer and 237 presets are free, no time limit. The $49 Bundle adds all 2,800 presets plus the full vocal chain.
Can I use it on the master?
Yes. Keep MIX low for glue.
Does it work on Mac and Windows?
Yes. Mac gets VST3 and AU (Apple Silicon and Intel). Windows gets VST3 plus a standalone app. It loads in FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro and other DAWs. Not Pro Tools yet (no AAX).
