FREE · DELAY PLUGIN · VST3 / AU
A free delay plugin with tape-echo attitude.
STUDIO mode is built around tape, delay and reverb: tempo-synced echoes with tape colour, the kind you throw on the last word of a line. Every twist of the cube changes the time, feedback and what sits around it. It's free.
Hear it.
Real loops through real STUDIO presets, nothing else added. Tap DRY to hear the original.
Want to hear it on your own loop? Load it into SCRAMBLE in your browser.

Echoes that sit in the beat.
Delay
Tempo-synced echoes, always in time.
Tape
Warm, slightly worn repeats.
Reverb
Space around the echoes.
Vocal throws
VOCAL CHAIN has delay + echo controls of its own.
When a dedicated delay is the better pick
- You want to set exact times, feedback and filters by hand. Free delays like Valhalla Freq Echo or paid ones like EchoBoy go deeper there.
We'd rather you use the right tool. If that's Delay plugins, go for it.
How to get the sound.
- Put SCRAMBLE on a vocal, synth or loop and pick STUDIO.
- Twist the cube until the echo fits.
- Use MIX for a send-style blend.
SCRAMBLE is out now, and it's free.
All 8 FX modes, the full cube, the sequencer and 237 presets. Mac + Windows, no card needed.
