SCRAMBLE's ROBOT is a 12-band vocoder with a built-in carrier. It doesn't take an external MIDI or synth carrier.

When a classic vocoder is the better pick
- You want to play the chords yourself from a MIDI keyboard (Daft Punk style).
- You need lots of bands, formant shift or a talkbox model.
We'd rather you use the right tool. If that's Classic vocoders, go for it.
How to get the sound.
- Put SCRAMBLE on a vocal or sample and pick MORE FX.
- Open the ROBOT VOICE folder, or twist the cube until ROBOT lights up.
- Drag ROBOT's bar to set how hard it talks, and pull MIX down to blend it with the dry voice.

Questions
Do I need a synth or MIDI to use it?
No. ROBOT has a built-in carrier tuned to the key SCRAMBLE detects in your track.
How do I get the ROBOT sound fast?
Pick MORE FX and open the ROBOT VOICE preset folder: 12 presets where ROBOT is the main effect (3 are in the free version, all 12 in the Bundle). Then twist the cube for more, and drag ROBOT's bar in WHAT'S LIT to set how hard it hits.
Is it free?
Yes. All 8 FX modes, the cube, the sequencer and 237 presets are free, no time limit. The $49 Bundle adds all 2,800 presets plus the full vocal chain.
Does it work on Mac and Windows?
Yes. Mac gets VST3 and AU (Apple Silicon and Intel). Windows gets VST3 plus a standalone app. It loads in FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro and other DAWs. Not Pro Tools yet (no AAX).
