Drop an 808, a bell, a pluck or a vocal chop into any of the four slots. MUTANT. listens to it, works out the synth that makes it, and builds that synth for you.
- Drag it in. Up to four sounds at once, one per layer.
- It gets rebuilt as a real synth layer in the same key, with its own frequency range so the stack never turns to mud.
- Play it in any note, from your keys or MIDI. Blend the original with the synth, or go full synth.

Every stack is four layers, each with its own level, tune, low and high. Solo one, swap one, open it up and change the waves, filter and envelopes, or let MAKE 5 build you a fresh stack.
Then shape the whole thing with width, growl, declick, drive and tone, plus pitch, decay, punch, glide and duck. Auto mode works out whether you loaded a bass, a synth or drums.

No. MUTANT. is complete without them, and with drag-ins every one-shot you already own becomes a new synth, so you'll never run out of sounds.

Why are some presets in expansions?
So MUTANT. can be $69 instead of $199, and you only pay for the sounds you'll actually use. A bass producer doesn't need 330 arps, and an R&B producer doesn't need 279 dirty basses. The core has the best of every category, and you can play any locked preset for 15 seconds before deciding.
How do I get everything?
Pre-order MUTANT. Complete for $99 (it's $199 after launch) and every expansion unlocks the day it drops. In the store you can also take any 3 expansions for $69 or any 6 for $129, and every new expansion is $19 in its release week.
When do the expansions come out?
808 Vault, Heavy Bass and Dirty Bass arrive with MUTANT. on December 15. Then one new expansion every Tuesday: Arps (Jan 5), Phrases, Keys, Tape, Leads, Pads & Cinema, Bells & Plucks, Brass & Stabs, Pocket Lab and Chip (Mar 9).
Can I split the payment?
Yes. Pick pay in 4 on Complete and pay $24.75 today, then three more payments every two weeks, interest-free with Klarna or Afterpay.
What does it run on?
VST3 and AU on Mac and Windows, in any DAW that loads them: FL Studio, Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Studio One, Reaper and the rest. It plays from MIDI like any synth.
Do I need SCRAMBLE.?
No. MUTANT. is its own instrument with the cube built in. If you already own the SCRAMBLE. Bundle, MUTANT. is $29 and every expansion is 20% off.
