Short version: we count what helps us make SCRAMBLE. better and we never sell anything about you. Questions or delete requests: team@scrambleplugin.com.
In the plugin (only if you say yes)
The first time SCRAMBLE. opens it asks if you want to share anonymous usage stats. Nothing is sent unless you pick SURE. If you do, the plugin sends:
- which presets, FX modes and themes you use, and a few button clicks (Scramble, Solve, Daily, Randomize, Make a video)
- how long the plugin window stays open
- the plugin version, Mac or Windows, your DAW's name, and whether you have the Bundle
- a random ID made on your computer, so we can tell one setup from another
It never sends your audio, file or project names, your email, or your Bundle key. The ID isn't linked to your email or purchase. Your country is read from the connection, and your IP address isn't stored.
To switch it off (or on): click THEME in the plugin and untick Share anonymous usage stats. Switching it off deletes anything still waiting to be sent.
On this website
- We count page views, downloads and which buttons get clicked, as daily totals (no cookies for this).
- Microsoft Clarity shows us anonymous heatmaps and screen recordings so we can fix confusing pages.
- The Meta Pixel tells Facebook / Instagram when an ad led to a signup, download or purchase.
- If you came from a partner's link and sign up, we keep your email with that partner's name so they get credit.
Email and payments
- Signups go to our email service, Kit. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- Purchases are handled by Polar (merchant of record). We never see your card. We keep your email and order ID so we can send your Bundle key.
