808 PLUGIN · VST3 / AU
An 808 plugin that also plays your 808s.
Everyone has a favourite 808 one-shot, and everyone has heard it chipmunk when it's pitched up an octave. MUTANT. ships with long, saturated 808s built for trap, drill and rap, with glide, drive, punch and duck. Then drag your own 808 in: MUTANT. rebuilds it as a synth, so it holds up in every key.
Hear it.
Straight from the MUTANT. library, nothing added. Tap a sound.
More sounds, the stacks and the cube on the MUTANT. page.
808s that slide and knock.
Built-in 808s
Long, mono, saturated, with a click on top. The 808 Vault pack adds more on launch day.
Glide
Slides between notes, like a real 808 pattern.
Your 808, rebuilt
Drag in any 808 one-shot and play it across the keyboard without chipmunking.
Stack it
808 + distorted bass + a click layer in one patch.
How it works.
- Load MUTANT. on an instrument track and open the 808s, or drag in your own.
- Turn up glide and play your pattern.
- Add drive or growl, then twist the cube for an FX chain.
No two stacks the same.
43,252,003,274,489,856,000
Built on a real Rubik's cube, MUTANT.'s FX engine has 43,252,003,274,489,856,000 positions, and each one is a different FX chain. To get through just 1% of them you'd have to make 10,000 presets a day for 118 billion years. That's over 8 times the age of the universe.
MUTANT. is out December 15. Pre-order it for $39.
